The following tips come from an Effortless Gardener in Madison, Wisconsin. Thanks for your contribution, Nancy!

Hi Miriam and your gardening partners:

My tip is really a "no-brainer," and it applies to all of life.........begin each project with good organization, i.e., (a) think through and plan the project, (b) obtain all equipment, (c) pick a time and day when you have ample time available to complete a certain portion (or all) of the project; (d) make sure you have ample water available to avoid running back and forth; and (e) take pictures of the site before beginning the project; after the project is complete; and when the season is well is at its prime.

2nd Tip: use the pictures from above, in an effortless gardening file, to consult when preparing the project for the same space the next year. It helps so much to see the results many months later...................and both these tips lead to gardening pleasure with no stress!
